RMSF needs YOU...

... SF Pride "Leather Alley" volunteers,
... and Plans for "Up Your Alley / Dore Alley" Fair Rubber Party

The Rubber Men of San Francisco Bay (RMSF) has an special opportunity at San Francisco Gay Pride's "Leather Alley" to renew our presence in the community.

  1. We need a few volunteers to help out with "Leather Alley" so that we are officially recognized as participants. They will be having a Silent Auction and need coverage in 1/2 hour to 1 hour shifts. You should wear some alternative wear according to the RMSF goals (rubber, latex, neoprene, nastypig, lycra, sports gear, etc.).

  2. We are in the planning stages for our annual "Dore Alley (Up Your Alley Fair) Saturday Rubber Party at Powerhouse Bar" -- Saturday July 24th, 2010.
This event will be promoted at Leather Alley (SF Pride) with flyers and your personal introductions to rubber guys (or potential rubber guys!) who are not yet active in RMSF. This is our "hidden motive" to participate in Leather Alley.

To Volunteer ... Please register on our completely private discussion forum ( http://www.rmsf.org/discuss ):

If you are local or at least wish to share what works in your community, please register and login to our interactive Discussion Board.

The discussion board is currently open to anyone and any suggestions or topics. As promising topics develop, stale ones will be closed off. RMSF members who contribute to the discussion will be invited to group brain-storming events to help move ideas along.

- Should we work harder to ensure we have a monthly rubber event and home bar? Will you volunteer to act as "host" for these nights (just be there, in rubber, and meet and greet, and get guys to the website: www.rmsf.org)?

            - What other types of events can we produce and what will YOU do to make it happen? All the resources of RMSF.org are at your disposal -- JUST ASK!  org@rmsf.org

            - Can we make 2 or 3 good events a year go so well for RMSF that it is worth keeping the website and email list for this purpose (e.g., Dore Alley Saturday, and one or two other nights that visitors will plan for)?

            - Should we host and gain sponsorship for a Mr. Rubber San Francisco contest to ensure SF (and rmsf.org) is represented at West Coast Rubber and Mister International Rubber with the support of all of us behind him?

            - If I don't hear from you, I presume you don't care and don't want or need a rubber club in San Francisco!

Contributions:

    - Small monetary contributions help offset any and all expense of rmsf.org and facilitate promotional materials (flyers, cross-promotions, web site hosting, etc.). Please consider a small donation or membership purchase at this link, or send potential sponsors (rubber oriented vendors) my way:
